Your Attitude is Showing
I knew sooner or later you‘d show up on this page. Either through curiosity or because of what I wrote about Keeping Your Company, I knew this topic would attract you‘re attention eventually.
See, attitude is a hugely misunderstood part of human nature which is odd because it‘s really the only thing you can control. This is tough to explain, and often extremely hard for people to agree with, but it‘s true and the better you are at making your attitude work for you the more you‘ll succeed.
Attitude is everything.
So far I‘ve told you that you‘ve got to depend on more than your talent, that you don‘t have enough talent, that you should be careful who you spend time with and that you should think like a business owner. Seems like a lot to take in, but none of it matters if you don‘t have a great attitude.
You need to be someone people want to work with, and you can be. You need to be someone who believes -- with everything you have -- that you will succeed. You have to also believe in and support those around you, sometimes even competitors. Finally, you need to be able to feel and believe all these things despite what‘s going on in the world around you. You have to control your attitude.
Attitude determines altitude!
Do I know that sounds corny? You bet. Do I know it‘s true? You bet!
Don‘t over complicate what I'm saying here, people don‘t want to work with jerks. They want to be around, hire and support people who are a "great hang" and know exactly where they are going in life. In fact, people are longing to be around people like that. Trust me, be that type of person, and you‘ll have a great future.
Just make sure you're grounded in reality. Make sure you don‘t fail because You‘re Dreaming.
